Ardel Aidan
Current emperor of Ardae. Like his
fore-fathers Ardel is under the curse
of the dragon blood flowing in his veins.
If a new Leviathan is not found to cool
it he will go insane

 | Dante Kaemon
The son of a retired Ardae general
who relocated to Aquilae, Dante is in
training to become a Knight of Aidan.
He admires his older brother and wishes
to follow in Cian's footsteps even though
he longs to return to his homeland.

| Cian Kaemon
Dante's older brother. He is assigned
to guide his younger brother through his
final task before becoming a Knight
of Aidan. He believes it is his destiny to
serve the Aidan dynasty and he will let
nothing stand in the way of that. |

Sibley Varden
Dante's former lover. Sibley is given to strange
visions of the future. Trained as a scholar he can
read, write, and figure. He has been working for
the Kaemon household and for Dante's father. A
vision came to him before Dante left for the
Knighthood showing Dante with another lover and
because of it he broke off their relationship to
free Dante for this new lover. Despite this they
have remained on good terms.

 | Errol
Dorjan's second in command, Errol started his adult
life as a scholar. After speaking with a few Knights
of Aidan he decided to see if he could be accepted
into the Knighthood. He passes the tests and
quickly rose in the ranks as his former schooling
gave him a distinct advantage when having to make
decisions. He is next in line to be Lord General
when Dorjan steps down. |
