Characters

Ivan Tsaravich

The third son of Tsar Vislav. When his father promised his kingdom to the son that brought him the Firebird (Trey) he left to retrieve him. However on his return home Ivan's two older brothers killed him and took the Firebird. Ivan was brought back to life by the Grey Wolf who tricked a crow into retrieving the Water of Life for him. Ivan has spent the last five years learning magic from Tsar Dedumil.

Trey Ashewynne

Born to a family of wanderers, Trey left his home to travel the world and learn about other places. During his travels he saved a Rusalki (forest faerie) who promised to help him in return. His travels ended when he came upon Tsar Vislav's palace and was raped and beaten. Left for dead the Rusalki came and brought him magical fruit from the Tsar's orchard. The Rusalki told him that if he wished revenge he should steal all the fruit from the Tsar's orchard, which he did. However he was seen by Ivan on the third night. When he fled to the neighboring kingdom Tsar Dedumil's men saw him heal a deadly wound from a thief's knife. He was taken before the Tsar where he admitted what had been done to him at Tsar Vislav's palace. Fascinated by the thought that Trey would heal whatever was done to him and by the rumors that he was a Firebird Dedumil caged him and forced him into the role of a sex slave. He was later given to Ivan and then return to Vislav after Ivan's death. He has since been Vislav's slave.
