Milya Llyr

The youngest son of the king of Aquilae, Milya has spent his life cloistered away in the palace under the care of his brothers, most notably Daniel. Born with silver hair he is considered by the people of Aquilae to be ugly. There are those that insist he is demon born and an unlucky omen for the king and kingdom.

Saraes d'Aidan

The only son of the first Emperor of Ardae, Saraes was brought to Aquilae as a  hostage in the hopes that it would keep his father from invading. Since his father's death he is the current Emperor of Ardae but he has been forbidden from returning to his homeland by the King. He is not used to the ways of the Aquilaens and he does not understand their obsession with perfection nor their disgust of the youngest Llyr prince.

Daniel Llyr

The eldest son of the king of Aquilae he is the heir to the Aquilaen throne. Suspicious of the Ardaen in their midst he disapproves of the burgeoning relationship between his youngest brother and the man whose father turned on his own people in his madness.
